Dream Acres was honored to be a part of the first Ever Equine Therapy Project in our Oregon Youth Authority Correctional Institution. A student at Portland State worked on this project and received approval through the Capstone Project Hope program. Thank You Shannon for this wonderful opportunity.

Dream Acres is dedicated to helping people enrich their lives using horses. We serve children, families and groups dealing with emotional and or behavioral issues through the use of Equine Assisted activities. We also provide Skill Building Sessions for groups and clients that address team building, conflict resolution, self esteem, empathy, communication, and improving life skills.

Equine Assisted Psychotherapy is an experiential modality using horses which provide clients the opportunities to gain insights and apply new learning and skills.

Dream Acres is a small farm just outside the Portland Metropolitan area. We are located in Tualatin, Oregon. We have a quaint barn that is home to our five horses. Our outdoor riding arena is 80 X 120. My dream was to build an indoor riding arena so we can provide Equine Therapy and Skill Building throughout the year. I'm happy that my Dream was realized on June 7th, 2016 when our Indoor arena was completed.
