What is Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) and Equine Assisted Learning (EAL)?

EAP & EAL incorporate horses experientially for emotional growth and learning. It is a collaborative approach between a Licensed Therapist  and an Equine Specialist working with clients and horses to enhance treatment or teach skills. The activities focus on ground exercises only (NO RIDING). The therapist, equine specialist, horses and clients all work as a team in the arena.

Who Benefits?

Equine Assisted Psychotherapy is a treatment modality designed to help anyone who is interested in enriching or changing their lives through horses. Many who practice and participate find miraculous things happening between the horses and participants during their sessions and experiences with the horses.
If you are experiencing any of these challenges in your life EAP and EAL could help you.
